Disturbing Quirky Beautiful

It was simplistic art and animation, but it managed to be fun and creepy without getting to complex.
A little short, but I might just be saying that because I wanted to see that little round headed kid survive.
The song was great, it held a lot of latent creepiness that you really brought out by putting it with a great video (and also I am officially obsessed with the Decemberists!)
This is now one of my favorite videos on NG of all time!

This is a true ode to NG

since you seem to think that you are already given too much credit, some criticizm should be refreshing, no?

I think that once you reached the miss dynamite characters and onward, the diversity in how you switched from character to character became to boring and constant when it could have been more entertaining, the foamy characters had the potential to be especially entertaining.

Also the effort that you put into the drawings were very inconsistent, as some of them were crap, but others were plain beautiful.

Also the, you did not put as much effort into making the animated transition of words look as nice as the transition of the pictures.

Sorry if I seem at all harsh, but I did think that this was a good flash, if not simple.

can sum1 say history of the portal?

the animation was flawless
the drawing were good as a drawing of a connect four peice can go
the music went well with the animation
and it was pretty funny!
keep this up! you could just make history of the portal!!!

Nah, I won't ever make the history of the portal. Those are reserved for other animators who actually push the envelope and do impressive stuff.

Only thing that is impressive about my submissions is the scores they manage to get, which aren't even that incredible. Just little engines that could, I guess.

Oh, and if people are really complaining about the simplicity of the checkers, this might be shocking but those are duplicated movie clips. I ue the same clips/eye movie clips for each scene, with only the hands being custom frame by frame animation. I could spend maybe like a half hour on each, adding in more detail, and it would change how the movie looks entirely.

I'm not going to though because the movie is how I intended it to look.

good first submission, very funny, and i hope to see more movies with these 2 characters in the near future!
(*hint* next time don't be afraid to use bad language, blood, or even nudity, it will usually make your flashes funnier and sometimes attract new viewers!)

I know, but Bill and Chad were born out of education...

Bill was originally was designed in English class when we were drawing vocab words...Chad came soon after.

These two then became stars in my comic books for history...

That's why there's nothing "mature". There might be some in the future...

Obviously your first flash...

But you did a good job, it was sorta boring but at least you did sprites instead of stick figures like most noobs do! Also good animation, again better than many noobs! only two suggestions... use the characters video game voices instead of just subtitles... and don't stop posting your flash here because some people are tough critics!
